A Luxembourg parliamentary delegation will visit Japan from Sunday 20 to Friday 25 April 2025.

The delegation will be led by Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fernand Etgen, and is made up of the two Vice-Presidents, Fernand Etgen (DP) and Mars Di Bartolomeo (LSAP), the President of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Gusty Graas (DP), and the following members of the Bureau: Marc Spautz (CSV), Taina Bofferding (LSAP) and Diane Adehm (CSV).

The Luxembourg MPs will be welcomed by Vice-President of the House of Representatives, Koichiro Gemba, and Vice-President of the House of Councillors, Hiroyuki Nagahama, of the National Diet.

They will also meet with Yoshimasa Hayashi, President of the Japan-Luxembourg Parliamentary Friendship League.

The Luxembourg delegation will exchange views with members of the House of Representatives' Foreign Affairs Committee and with the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisayuki Fujii.

The programme also includes a visit to the Luxembourg Pavilion at the World Expo in Osaka.
