The Fonds national de la Recherche (FNR) are to undertake a new campaign entitled "Chercheurs à l’école" during the week of 14 - 18 March 2016.4

The initiative aims to present the research profession to the general public as it is still largely not understood. Researchers from public institutions and the private sector in Luxembourg will tell their personal story: their journey from high school to the projects they are doing today through the university. This allows students to have a better overview of the profession of researcher and ask questions about the research being done in Luxembourg. Additionally, researchers benefit from a platform allowing them to present their work to young people and get direct feedback.

During this week, 64 researchers will visit a total of 48 classes in 21 different schools, including the European School I, the Lycée Technique Michel Lucius and the Athénée de Luxembourg.
