A statement from St George’s International School in Luxembourg-Hamm on 16 November 2015

"The terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night cost 129 innocent citizens of that city their lives.

We stand reminded on this day of the inalienable fact that the democratic values of equality, fraternity and liberty are at the heart of our society and must be defended. All of us in our school and in our society have a duty to challenge all forms of intolerance, hate, racism and violence."

St George’s International School, Luxembourg will join in the Europe-wide 1 minute’s silence today to offer respect and solidarity to France and the citizens of Paris, a city very close to our home and our hearts."
