As reported by RTL, Luxembourg Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Monica Semedo returned to the European Parliament on Monday following a two-week suspension.
The former Democratic Party (DP) politician was suspended on 18 January 2021 over allegations that she psychologically harassed her former assistants. She resigned from the DP later that month.
Monica Semedo, who was elected in July 2019, will now continue her role as an independent member of the Renew Europe group in the European Parliament. From Thursday, she will again be able to vote in committee meetings.
