On Friday 21 March 2025, Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, Xavier Bettel, and the Minister of Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, met with Nguyen Hoa Binh, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, accompanied by a large delegation.

As reported by the relevant Luxembourg ministries, the three ministers discussed the potential for developing bilateral relations between Luxembourg and Vietnam in various areas such as financial services, investment, trade and tourism. Discussions also focused on strengthening relations between Vietnam and the European Union, as well as current international issues, including Russian aggression against Ukraine.

During his visit to Luxembourg, Nguyen Hoa Binh also held working meetings with the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies (Luxembourg's parliament), Fernand Etgen, members of the parliamentary Bureau and the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Development Cooperation, Foreign Trade and the Greater Region and Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Gilles Roth, as well as with Luxembourg for Finance, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) and the Financial Sector Supervisory Commission (CSSF), among others.
