
Luxembourg’s New World Theatre Company (NWTC), in association with St George's International School and Pirate Productions, will present four evenings of short plays on Thursday 22, Friday 23, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May 2025 at the Centre Culturel Hollerich in Luxembourg-Hollelrich (34 Rue Emile Lavandier).
The plays will be performed as an exclusive preview prior to NWTC competing at the international Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies (FEATS) 2025, which will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from Friday 6 to Monday 9 June 2025.

Thursday 22 and Friday 23 May 2025, three plays: My Father, Odysseus, Escurial and Too Darn Hot! at 19:00;
Saturday 24 May 2025, two plays: Escurial and Too Darn Hot! at 20:00;
Sunday 25 May 2025, two plays: Escurial and Too Darn Hot! at 16:00.
My Father, Odysseus, written by Timberlake Wertenbaker and directed by Clare Williams is described as “an upbeat, youthful retelling of the Greek myth Odysseus from the perspective of his son, Telemachus, a young man filled with teenage angst and internal conflict”. It will be presented by St George’s International School on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 May 2025 only.
Escurial is written by Michel de Ghelderode and directed by John Brigg. Synopsis: “A king and his fool play dangerous games ... while a queen slowly expires”. It will be presented by New World Theatre Club (all four performances).
Too Darn Hot!, written and directed by Neil Johnson, will be presented by Pirate Productions (all four performances).
Tickets for performances on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 May cost €24 for adults and €15 for students. Tickets for performances on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May 2025 cost €20 for adults and €15 for students
