
Yesterday marked the first day of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dimitri Medvedev's official visit to Luxembourg.
As part of this official visit, Luxembourg Prime Minister, Minister of State Xavier Bettel welcomed Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dimitri Medvedev at the Hôtel de Bourgogne, on Tuesday 5 March 2019, to review bilateral relations between the two countries. Major European and international issues were also on the agenda.
The Russian and Luxembourgish Prime Ministers went on to visit the Musée d'art moderne Grand-Duc Jean (MUDAM) where they had a working meeting and a press conference followed by an official lunch. The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy and co-chairman of the joint BLEU-Russia Commission, Étienne Schneider, also took this opportunity to meet with his Russian counterpart, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatiana Golikova.
His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg then received Dimitri Medvedev in audience at the Grand Ducal Palace.
The first day of this official visit ended with a meeting between Russian Prime Minister Dimitri Medvedev and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fernand Etgen.
Today, 6 March 2019, marks the second and last day of this visit.
