Many newly-arrived assignees and their accompanying spouses and family members do not enjoy the benefit of a relocation package and are left to find their own way regarding administrative procedures and settling in to their new life in the Grand Duchy.
International Communities of Luxembourg (ICL) is a non-profit association which aims to bring the ex-patriate and local communities together. With this group in mind, ICL is partnering with OLAI, the Luxembourg School of Commerce and the Ministry of Economy, with the support of AMCHAM to offer an orientation course specifically for those who have been in Luxembourg for 90 days or under.
The website www.intcomlux.com is constantly evolving, but there is already a wealth of information available, both for those who are thinking of relocating and those who have just arrived.
The course is held roughly once a month and is free for eligible attendees (and their accompanying partners/spouses) who have been living and working in Luxembourg for 90 days or under. Priority will be given to those who have not benefited from a relocation package should the number of applications exceed places.
Participants must register to attend - see http://intcomlux.com/90day.php?lang=en. The course will be held in English. The next course is on Saturday 18 October.
