This Saturday 27 September from 10:00, the Wellness & Fitness team from Mondorf’s thermal sector will be taking participants on an athletic ride within the thermal park – a Boot Camp.

The programme is formed by a 2km run through river, plain and forest, featuring eleven obstacles such as rope climbing, push-ups, ziplining, stream crossing and straw bales.

Boot Camp will enable the participant to (re)discover the zest for physical effort and pushing oneself to the limit in the great outdoors. It is an opportunity for those at all levels of physical condition.

Initial gathering will be at 10:00 with the first batch of participants leaving at 10:30.

To sign up, call Wellness & Fitness at tel: 23666-600. The admission fee to Wellness & Fitness allows participation for Boot Camp, €26 for 4 hours or €35 for the entire day.

Boot Camp is inspired by the American military training camps and has been adapted to attract a large crowd. The principle is to find self-fulfilment through breaking a sweat in nature.

It is made up of exercises that utilise body weight and the repetition of various non-conventional exercises, mixed in with runs and different challenges such as jumping, rope activities etc. In short, the goal is to train as a group, motivating each other and having fun, whilst establishing a strong moral fibre and improving body shape.
