On Saturday 11 October from 14:00 at Kulturfabrik (116 Rue de Luxembourg, L-4221 Esch-sur-Alzette), the 2nd edition bike festival, Urban Cycling Day #2, will take place.
The organisers are preparing a number of presentations, demonstrations and other interesting activities, including:
Presentations:
- Urban cycling: get started
- Cycling for beginners (by beginners)
- Low cost one-day bicycle trips
- Long distance cycling
- Bike communities in Luxembourg
- Why workshops don't work out?
Demonstrations:
- How to wash and clean your bike?
- Bike check-list: what to check before a ride?
And...
- Screening of videos (the topics will be announced soon)
- Bike Repair Café
- Pub quizz
- Free cycling maps
- For kids: pictures for painting

Bicycle exhibition: "Have a Look!" (guess, which brand))
At 17:00, everyone attending is invited to join a Round Table with a representative of the government of the Grand-Duchy Luxembourg, Christophe Reuter (Ingénieur diplômé en génie civil, Planification de la Mobilité, Département des transports).
The Festival will end with the Néoh Ride, when it gets dark.
FOOD & DRINKS
Free access to BBQ, where you can grill whatever you want! There's a Cactus store next to the venue (open until 20:00) - you can buy everything there.
