The Association of the Parents of the Polish School in Luxembourg has announced its annual family picnic to celebrate Children’s Day on 18 June 2017 in the Parc de loisirs et de sports in Capellen, starting at 11:00.
All families with children are invited to join this annual picnic, which will feature different open-air activities: bouncy castles, gymnastics, arts and music, dance, cycling, football and tennis. Children who actively participate in all of these activities will receive small gifts.
This year there is also the opportunity to learn more about waste segregation thanks to the SuperDreckKëscht team who will have a separate educational stand.
For those who like reading, there will be a book swap, so participants are encouraged to bring the books that are no longer needed and exchange them for the new ones. Books in all languages and for all age groups are accepted. Otherwise, there is the option to purchase new books at a low price.
A catering team will offer various drinks and warm dishes including some Polish specialties, asw well as delicious homemade cakes.
