During the week of Pentecost, as well as during a few weekends in June, the CFL will partially bar the bus lines 10 (Luxembourg - Troisvierges - Gouvy), 30 (Luxembourg - Wasserbillig - Trier), 50 (Luxembourg - Kleinbettingen - Arlon), 60 (Luxembourg - Esch / Alzette - Rodange) and 90 (Luxembourg - Thionville).

Bus substitution measures have been put in place. All details are available online at www.cfl.lu.

Line 60: Luxembourg - Bettembourg - Esch-sur-Alzette - Rodange

Two sections of line 60 will be blocked during the week of June 3 to June 11 to allow significant renewal work at two sites and their surroundings:

Various modernisation works will be carried out at the Dudelange-Usines station, requiring the dam of the Bettembourg - Dudelange - Volmerange-les-Mines section. In order to adapt the track layout, work will be carried out at the Dudelange-Usines station to replace and renew railway sleepers, tracks and railway equipment, as well as adaptations to railway installations. Rails and sleepers will also be renewed on the stretch of line between Bettembourg and Volmerange-les-Mines.

In order to carry out renewal and modernisation works at Differdange station, the section of line 60 between Esch-sur-Alzette and Pétange will also be blocked during the same period. In view of the advanced age and wear and tear of the existing installations and in order to ensure the continued functioning of the same installations, it is necessary to carry out, inter alia, a replacement of the railway platform and the Drainage system. It should be noted that the substitute buses will run from Esch-sur-Alzette to Rodange, via Pétange.

Line 10: Luxembourg - Troisvierges - Gouvy and Line 30: Luxembourg - Wasserbillig - Trier Modernization of the section Ettelbruck - Troisvierges

After several decades of service, railway facilities on line 10 will gradually be renewed and modernised. For this purpose, the section of the line between Ettelbruck and Troisvierges will be closed during the Pentecost weekend, from 3 to 5 June. Several switches will be replaced at the Goebelsmühle railway station, which are particularly affected by the railway infrastructure. In addition, CFLs will take advantage of the dam to improve and stabilise the power supply for the "Ligne du Nord", for example by setting up a new substation at Flébour and work at the Bourscheidt and Michelau tunnels . To this must be added the work of securing the rock trenches to limit the risk of stone falls along the tracks between Kautenbach and Wilwerwiltz, near the Hockslay and Kirchberg tunnels.

Finally, work will be carried out as part of the reconstruction of the river bridge near Goebelsmühle station.

Three major infrastructure projects: the Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg railway stop, the new Pulvermühle viaduct and the dual carriageway of the Luxembourg - Sandweiler-Contern section.

Several major projects are currently underway to respond to the continuous increase in the number of passengers on line 10, known as "Ligne du Nord", and line 30 Luxembourg - Wasserbillig - Trier.

Major projects underway to remedy the bottleneck at the north entrance of the Luxembourg Railway Station include the construction of a second Pulvermühle viaduct, the installation of the new Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg stop and Its funicular railway and the dual carriage of the Luxembourg - Sandweiler - Contern section.

Pentecost Holidays and several weekends in June 2017 will allow CFLs to advance the work at these strategic locations. In this context, the section of line 30 between Luxembourg and Oetrange will have to be crossed at the weekend of 17 and 18 June in order to Permit the continuation of the dual carriageway work on the Hamm-Sandweiler-Contern section. Trains are diverted via Syren, the Cents-Hamm and Sandweil-Contern stops will be served by bus.

On line 10, more precisely on the stretch between Luxembourg and Dommeldange, work on the construction site of the Pfaffenthal- Kirchberg and the new Pulvermühle viaduct will be carried out. For this purpose, the section concerned will be blocked during the weekends of 10 and 11 and 17 and 18 June in order to allow work to be carried out on the tracks of the new viaduct as well as on the tracks and platforms of the new stop.

The commissioning of the Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg railway stop will take place again this year on 10 December 2017.In the same context and up to 30 June inclusive, the CFLs will have to abolish certain trains on the section of line 10 Between Luxembourg and Mersch.

Trains departing from Luxembourg in the direction of Mersch at 07:01, as well as at 17:03, and departing from Mersch in the direction of Luxembourg at 07:34.

The LCFs are asking the customers concerned to use trains from Luxembourg to Mersch at 06:54, 07:24, 16:54 and 17:24, as well as those departing from Mersch to Luxembourg at 07:13 and 07:43.

Line 50: Luxembourg - Kleinbettingen - Arlon, alternative buses will also run on the weekend of 17 and 18 June on the Luxemburg - Arlon stretch. This will enable reconstruction work at Kleinbettingen station with the aim of improving and securing access to the station for customers. This work will continue on the weekends of July 1st and 2nd and July 8th and 9th.

Line 90: Luxembourg - Thionville: to allow the establishment of a road bridge linking the "Eurohub Sud" logistics center with the new in Bettembourg-Dudelange and the Dudelange / Burange interchange, and to carry out work on the railway infrastructure, the Bettembourg-Thionville section of line 90 will be crossed on Sundays 11, 18 and 25 June, and Sundays 2 and 9 July.

The service between Luxembourg and Esch-sur-Alzette will normally be by train while the service between Luxembourg and Thionville will be provided by alternative buses.
