Passengers will be able to keep up with the “real time” whereabouts of 84 bus RGTR lines as from June 19, giving them reliable information for making connections and determining possible delays.
Eighty-one lines have been constable since February this year, and the whole network should be equipped for the end of this year.
The information will be available on screens at stations, on buses and on mobile platforms.
Moreover, with personal screens in the buses, drivers will be informed at all times of the arrival time of a train and can thus delay their own departure by a few minutes to ensure a correspondence.
Later, a "push" service will be considered in order to proactively inform the customer about possible irregularities.
Control stations will be operated in four regions of the country, responsible for supervising the network and, where appropriate, intervening in correspondence.
The project budget is € 23.3 million.
