Luxembourg's tunnels should be squeaky clean following a regular semi-annual clean up and maintenance due to start in early March.

Mersch, Colmar-Berg, Schieren, Howald, Cents, Richard Serra, Kirchberg, Saint-Esprit, South Pénétrante, Merl, Petange-Eglise, Biff, Secondary Access, Micheville, Aessen, Ehlerange, Foetz, Frisange, Mondorf and Markusberg tunnels are all scheduled for preventive and curative maintenance, equipment testing and cleaning of the tunnel walls, which should run until the end of May.

The Bridges and Highway Commission will carry out work either overnight or spread over one or more days, depending on the size and complexity of the work required.
