UPDATE: The forecasted weather conditions have meant that these roadworks have been cancelled.
This weekend, the Administration des ponts et chaussées will be conducting a project on the surface course of the A6 motorway between the croix de Cessange and the Strassen junction.
Between 19:00 on Friday 3 and 06:00 on Monday 6 June 2016, the following roadblocks and diversions will therefore be established. Circulation on the Arlon A6 motorway of the croix de Gasperich will be blocked from the croix de Cessange to the Strassen junction. The following exits will be blocked to traffic:
- The exit ramp of the croix de Cessange from the croix de Gasperich on the A6 to Esch-sur-Alzette on the A4;
- The exit ramp of the croix de Cessange from Esch-sur-Alzette on the A4 in direction of the Belgo-Luxembourg border of the A6;
- The exit ramp of the croix de Cessange from the Merl roundabout of the A4 and towards the Belgo-Luxembourh border of the A6;
- The exit ramp of the Helfenterbruck junction from the croix de Cessange of the A6 towards the N34;
- The access ramp of the Helfenterbruck junction from the N34 towards the Belgo-Luxembourg border.
Traffic will be redirected in a two-way flow, one lane in each direction, from the croix de Cessange to the Strassen junction. Traffic from the A4 towards Arlon and the A6 will be redirected towards the croix de Gasperich and the Gluck roundabout of the A3. Traffic from the croix de Gasperich towards Esch-sur-Alzette of the A4 will be redirected to the Merl roundabout of the A4.
