On Sunday 29 May 2016, natur&ëmwelt, SIAS and Bee Together will be holding a biodiversity walk.
Beginning in Oberanven, the 4km walk will show participants what helps and hinders biodiversity. There will be about 70m of elevation gain and 70m of loss, and the terrain is not suitable for pushchairs. However dogs are welcome to be brought along as long as they are kept on a lead.
Participants are advised to wear clothes suitable for the weather conditions and footwear with a good grip, and bring with them drinking water, a snack and any prepared questions they wish to ask.
The event is free although participants are encouraged to donate what they wish, to be brought in cash. Donations from the event will be given to SIAS to use on their projects with local schools to make their schoolyards more pollinator friendly.
The walk will take place from 10:15 to 12:30. To register, click here. The exact meeting location will be sent to the people who register for the event on or before 26 May.
