The Kirchberg junction of the A1 will be joining Merl in undergoing road surface renewal work this weekend.

From 20:00 on Friday 8 to 06:00 on Monday 11 April 2016, the Kirchberg junction N°8 on the A1 motorway from the croix de Gasperich towards the Kirchberg plateau will by blocked off to traffic.

Motorists will be redirected from the Kirchberg junction via the Senningerberg junction (N°9) on the A1 coming from Trier to the Kirchberg junction.
