This Friday and Saturday 25 & 26 March, the Place d'Armes in Luxembourg city centre will host an initiative entitled Explore Luxembourg aimed at kick-starting the tourist season in the Grand Duchy.
Organised by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO), the two days of concerts and events will allow passers-by to discover the various tourist regions of the Grand Duchy. Over the two days, the "living city" will turn into a Mini Grand Duchy of tourism, with stands of Regional Tourist Offices and other tourism actors.
Those attending wil discover that the capital offers twenty circuits to explore by foot, while most visitors especially appreciate the ramparts of the fortress and Casemates du Bock, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. In the Luxembourg Ardennes, immerse yourself in the rich natural and cultural heritage where one castle can hide another. Lovers of wines and sparkling wines and lovers of water will be delighted by the friendliness of the Luxembourg Moselle. Hikers and climbers will be met in the middle of giant rocks and wild forests of the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. The abbey town of Echternach attracts thousands of visitors. The South offers industrial heritage in the midst of a redeveloped historic mining area. Among the jewels of the West Region is the Vallée des Sept Châteaux.
