In the context of the 35th anniversary of the Association de Soutien aux Travailleurs Immigrés (ASTI), the organisation has announced an exhibition entitled 'Luxembourg Sans Papiers - 100 Parcours' to highlight the experiences of nine migrants living in the Grand Duchy.
The testimonies reveal the diversity in the migration of these individuals, with the aim of providing a better understanding the various reasons behind their journey to Luxembourg, including poverty, political turmoil, family issues and other injustices, as well as a better picture of the living and working conditions of these newcomers.
A video montage, directed by Carole Lorang and Mani Muller and featuring actresses Sophie Langevin and Maria Campos Garcia, has been created expressing the reality of undocumented migrants and is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElWDlj8Lg2w&feature=youtu.be. For further information on a free booklet containing the texts of these eyewitness accounts, contact +352 43 83 33 1 or ensemble@asti.lu.
