Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture has launched a call for projects for the production of a musical sound recording.

As part of the reform of its subsidy policy, the Culture Ministry is setting up a sound recording assistance programme for all musical genres. Two calls for projects will be launched per year, one in spring and one in autumn.

This call for projects is aimed at professional artists or groups of artists who are Luxembourg nationals or residents and / or those with proven cultural roots in the Grand Duchy, as well as Luxembourg labels and record companies (SARL / SA). These two support schemes are intended to support creation, promote the emergence of new talent and encourage professionals in the trade to invest in the long-term development of artists' careers.

The examination of the files submitted within the framework of this call for projects, as well as the allocation of the amount of the subsidy, will be entrusted to a jury consisting of an employee of the Ministry of Culture and four music professionals. The work of the jury is secret. No appeal against the decisions of the jury will be accepted.

The conditions and criteria of the call for projects are detailed (in French) on the website of the Ministry of Culture: https://mc.gouvernement.lu/fr/Domaines/appels-a-projets/appel_projets_enregistrement_sonore.html.
