On Thursday 10 September 2026, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported that its emergency services treated 290 people during this year's Schueberfouer, which ran from Friday 21 August to Wednesday 9 September 2026.

According to the CGDIS, an emergency response system was in place throughout the duration of the fair to ensure the safety of visitors. Between eight and twelve volunteer and professional firefighters were stationed at the site each day from 12:00 until 01:00 to respond to medical emergencies as well as potential fire and rescue incidents.

In total, CGDIS firefighters treated 290 people at the Schueberfouer, with the vast majority of cases involving minor health issues.

Of those treated, 39 people were transported by ambulance to hospital.

The CGDIS added that its emergency services were not required to carry out any technical interventions involving fires or rescue operations during the fair.
