The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of a shoplifting suspect in Dudelange on Tuesday 30 June 2026.
According to initial information, a man entered a supermarket on Tuesday morning, consumed several food items and refused to pay for them. He also allegedly made death threats against members of staff.
A police patrol attended the scene and established that the suspect had already come to police attention on several occasions in recent months.
Acting on the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the suspect was arrested.
