On Friday last the foundation stone for a new sports and school complex in Cents was laid.
The project, to the south of Cents primary school, covers an area of 1000 square metres featuring a multi-functional sports hall with spectator stands, weights room, dojo, swimming pool, outdoor grounds and underground parking.
The project also entails an extension to the adjacent school building, encompassing four basement level rooms, three early-years classrooms on the garden level, and six pre-school classrooms on the top floor. There will also be a multifunctional room, a do-it-yourself room, a library and a pedagogic kitchen.
The €51 million project is scheduled to finish in July 2019.
