It is now possible to apply for the documents relating to accreditation as a social impact society (SIS) online, through www.guichet.lu, set up by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social and Solidarity Economy
Created by the law of 12 December 2016, an SIS is a new legal statute reserved for companies in the social and solidarity economy. The status is aimed at both existing organisations of the social and solidarity economy, constituted in the form of non-profit organisations, a foundation or a cooperative, and who wish to launch socially innovative activities.
The mechanism creates many advantages for the structure concerned, including better legal certainty, adapted tax framework, access to public procurement, etc., accompanied by strict obligations in terms of transparency and governance.
The application for accreditation as a societal impact company as well as all related documents are now online and can be downloaded directly from the page.
