Following yesterday’s crash on the rail line to Thionville, the CFL has advised that the line between Bettembourg and Thionville is closed for 48 hours and alternative bus routes for passengers travelling to or via Thionville have been put in place. 

 From Luxembourg, passengers are asked to take one of the alternative buses to Thionville, departing from platform 19 of the bus station or bus 300. Delays are to be expected.

From Thionville, CFL has set up alternative buses between Thionville Station and Luxembourg Station. 1 train from Thionville: departure 05:40 + 1 train from Metz, departure 06:10

To Hettange-Grande, passengers are asked to take trains from line 60 to Bettembourg. Alternative buses depart from Bettembourg to Hettange-Grande and vice versa. Bus lines 323 and 302 are available. 

From Hettange-Grande, alternative buses are set up between Hettange-Grande and Bettembourg station.

For TGV passengers travelling to Paris, Strasbourg and beyond should take a bus to Lorraine TGV station, departing from Pier 21 at the bus station. 

At Lorraine TGV station, customers will be transferred to another TGV. Delays on arrival are to be expected.

Guests can also reach the TGV train station in Thionville by their own means.
