The Administration of Public Transport (ATP) has announced an enhanced public transport service for the National Day celebrations on Monday 22 June, with additional buses, trams and trains operating throughout the evening and into the early hours of Tuesday 23 June 2026.
Temporary route changes and road closures will also affect several services.
According to the ATP, additional RGTR bus services will operate overnight on selected routes, while the City of Luxembourg (VdL) will reinforce AVL bus services and increase connections between park and ride sites, the city centre and Luxembourg Central Station. Most special AVL services will run until around 03:30.
Luxtram will operate an extended timetable between Findel Luxembourg Airport and Stadion. The last tram will leave Findel Airport at 03:16, while the final departures from Stadion will be at 02:38 for Findel Airport and 03:38 for Luxexpo in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. Tram services will also be temporarily interrupted on parts of the route during the fireworks display and military parade.
CFL will also operate additional overnight trains from Luxembourg station towards Troisvierges, Wasserbillig, Kleinbettingen, Esch-sur-Alzette, Dudelange and Rodange, with the final departures scheduled between 03:10 and 03:35, depending on the destination.
The ATP advised passengers to keep an eye on the timetables before travelling, as some routes and stopping points will change because of the festivities.
