The sun made an appearance this morning as the Ville de Luxembourg (VdL) launched the 2019 edition of "Explore Luxembourg", an event that highlights the Grand Duchy's cultural and touristic offer.

Launched this year by Tourism Minister Lex Delles in Place d'Armes, Explore Luxembourg 2019 kickstarted both Easter weekend and the Luxembourg tourism season. The exhibition has once again transformed the centre of Luxembourg-ville into a microcosm of the Grand Duchy, with stands representing all the major tourist regions and attractions.

From "Peckervillchen" pottery making from Nospelt (Syndicat d’Initiative de Nospelt - Péckvillercher) ahead of Easter Monday's traditional Emaischen markets and food tastings (Ecole des Goûts Naturpark Our) to Moselle wine tastings (Laurent and Rita Kox vineyards; Caves J.P. Steinmetz-Duhr) and guided tours through the city, organised by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) and Villa Vauban, this event showcases some of the most important tourist and cultural activities and attractions that the Grand Duchy has to offer.
