Adrienne Haan in concert;
International chanteuse Adrienne Haan is to perform Rock Le Cabaret!, a modern rock opera featuring French chansons by Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Kurt Weill.
Adrienne Haan is known as one of Europe and America’s most electrifying cabaret stars touring around the world; on Friday 22 September she will perform at the Trifolion in Echternach at 20:00.
The programme features a five-piece rock band building a bridge between classical French cabaret and rock music. She fuses Brel with Metallica, Piaf with Van Halen, Aznavour with the Bee Gees and Weill with Andrew Lloyd Webber for a performance filled with her personal stories and history to help enhance an evening of cabaret for a new generation.

The band features Benjamin Schaefer on piano, Ralf Gessler on drums, Martin Behr on electric guitar, Markus Braun on electronic bass and Klaas Voigt on tenor sax and synth.

On performing in Luxembourg, Adrienne’s explained "I am thrilled to return to my second home, my “paternal country” Luxembourg for this show. We are premiering Rock Le Cabaret! in Europe and it makes me proud we can do so in Luxembourg that I also call home. This rock opera was hailed as a great success in New York’s prestigious Cutting Room in 2015. The Cutting Room is New York’s top notch venue for pop and rock music in which many stars like Sting, Rod Steward and the Scorpions have performed at. It used to be owned by actor Chris Noth who portrays Mr. Big in “Sex In The City”. I have not performed in Luxembourg in several years so there is no better place to return to the country I also call “home” than the Trifolion in Echternach; a beautiful and modern venue in which this show fits very well. My whole family is attending which means, around 50 tickets or so have been bought by the extended family Haan! ;) My parents, uncles, aunts, cousins and second cousins all live in Luxembourg. This time, I am bringing along my 5-piece German rock band, a bunch of extremely talented, young and charismatic musicians. I hope many Luxembourgers will find out about Rock Le Cabaret! It’s the only day we are rocking the house at the Trifolion….."
