On Wednesday 22 April 2026, Jazz Forum Luxembourg’s 2025/2026 season will conclude with a performance by The Shauli Einav Big Band at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl.
According to organisers Jazz Forum Luxembourg, The Shauli Einav Big Band brings together seventeen professional musicians from across generations, mixing rising local talents with professors from the Conservatoire and members of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg.
At its heart lies the vision of saxophonist and composer Shauli Einav, who has built an international career performing at legendary venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Centre, Ronnie Scott’s, Duc des Lombards and Swing Hall Tokyo.
The evening’s program will include original compositions from Shauli Einav - brought to life through close collaboration with a team of arrangers including Andy Hunter (WDR Big Band), Erica Seguine, Gilles Grethen, Nathan Parker Smith, Maxime Bender, and GRAMMY Award–winner Dan Pugach - for a distinctive, contemporary sound that bridges traditions and new ideas.
Shauli Einav will be joined by Luxembourg’s own jazz prodigy, trumpeter Daniel Migliosi, and the acclaimed WDR Big Band trombonist Andy Hunter, for what Jazz Forum Luxembourg describe as “an evening of intricate arrangements, lively rhythms and soulful improvisations”.
