The Opderschmelz cultural centre and the City of Dudelange have announced the first acts for the 14th edition of the Like a Jazz Machine festival, set to take place from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October 2026 at Opderschmelz in Dudelange.

The festival, described by the organisers as “a stimulating platform for artists, the public and professionals”, will present various kinds of jazz, from its more traditional to its most innovative forms.

The first acts to be announced are The James Carter Quartet, who will perform “Trane: A Centennial Supreme”, a celebration of saxophonist John Coltrane; Nordic jazz trio Rymden; British jazz trio Mammal Hands; and the Daniel Migliosi Quartet.
