Luxembourg's Peter Murphy to Compete in ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships

The Union Luxembourgeoise de Patinage de Vitesse (ULPV) has confirmed that COSL Elite skater Peter Murphy is set to compete in the ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships this coming weekend.

The ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships are taking place in Rotterdam (Netherlands) from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 March 2024. Following the qualifying races, the main event will go ahead on Saturday and Sunday.

The ULPV reported that Peter Murphy has been training in Heerenveen the whole season for this competition and is aiming for new records. He will join skaters from almost 40 countries.

Thousands of people are expected to watch the sold-out championships live. Spectators can also follow the competition via the Skating ISU YouTube channel here.
