Peter Murphy in Turin, Italy;

The Club Hiversport Luxembourg Patinage de vitesse (CHLPV) has reported that Luxembourg skater Peter Murphy recently participated in the Winter World University Games in Turin, Italy.
The games took place in Turin from 11 to 23 January 2025.
COSL cadre skater Peter Murphy skated in the B-Final in the 1000m race, finishing 10th overall. He also finished 15th in the 1500m and 21st in the 500m races.
In other news, from Friday 31 January to Sunday 2 February 2025, the Kockelscheuer ice rink will host the Star Class CD 2 competition, featuring 172 skaters from nine countries.
The next competitions are the ISU Short Track World Tour 5, taking place in Tilburg (Netherlands) from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 February 2025 and then the ISU World Tour 6 in Milan (Italy) the following weekend. Peter Murphy will be skating in these competitions.
The Speculaas Cup in Hasselt (Belgium) will take place from Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 February 2025, with several Luxembourg skaters set to participate. Julie Kiesgen will train first in Canada and then skate in the ISU World Junior Championships in Calgary.
