The Luxembourg undertakings for collective investment (UCI) industry recorded a positive change amounting to €73.386 billion in the month of July 2019.

As of 31 July 2019, the aggregate net assets of global UCIs amounted to €4.484.774 billion as opposed to €4.411.388 billion on 30 June 2019, representing an increase of 1.66% over one month. Over the last twelve months, the volume of net assets increased by 4.72%.

For its part, the Luxembourg UCI industry industry similarly posted a positive change in the month of July, amounting to €73.386 billion. This increase represents the balance of positive net issues up to €14.589 billion (+0.33%) and the favourable financial market developments of €58.797 billion (+1.33%).

The number of UCIs taken into consideration was 3,829 (compared to 3,858 in June). 2,504 entities have adopted an umbrella structure representing 13,494 compartments. Adding 1,325 entities with a traditional structure, a total of 14,819 units are active in the financial centre.
