The organisers of the Koll an Aktioun Festival have confirmed that the event is returning to Haut-Martelange after a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Koll an Aktioun, a diverse festival revolving around the themes of family, music, art and culture and culinary discoveries, will take place in Haut-Martelange in the municipality of Rambrouch, near the Belgo-Luxembourg border, on 4 and 5 June 2022.
For this seventh edition on the historic grounds of the Slate Museum (Musée de l'Ardoise), the festival will offer a varied programme. After a last-minute digital version in collaboration with Radio 100,7 in 2020, this year visitors will once again have the opportunity to experience the festival in its usual setting.
Since its first edition in 2014, Koll an Aktioun has always aimed to be a festival for the whole family, respecting nature and the environment and involving local actors. As such, apart from the musical offer, workshops, children's entertainment, local food and a Creators Market will also be part of the programme.
Besides renowned local acts, such as Mutiny on the Bounty and Nicool, well-known international artists like Pabst and The Brums will be part of this year's festival. Additional acts will be announced in the near future.
This year, Koll an Aktioun will take place in a slightly different setting than usual, in terms of both the setup and the number of visitors. A limited number of tickets are now available now via the festival website: https://kollanaktioun.lu/. Tickets cost €30 / day or €1.50 with a Kulturpass (via email: marketing@kollanaktioun.lu). Free entrance for under-16s.
