Last Sunday, 18 December 2016, the Fanfare Medernach, together with the Jugend Ensemble and the choirs of the Ernttengemeinde, organised their 2016 spiritual concert which is an established tradition, in the parish church in Medernach.
The organisations represented were organised by George Antony and Monique Kellen (Fanfare Medernach + Jugend Ensembel) and Claude Baumann (choirs of the Enztalgemeinde). At the beginning of the concert, Juliane Petry and Francis Hoffmann welcomed the large audience including Tania Draut representing the organisation 'Stëmm vun der Strooss'.
The musicians and singers could once again inspire the listeners with their talents. At the end of the concert, the audience demanded an encore. The programme was led in a relaxed atmosphere by the musicians of the youth ensemble.
Following the concert, Tania Draut made a presentation about Stëmm vun der Strooss and its work, and reported on her field of activity. For the organisations present, it was clear from the beginning their desire to support this organisation this year.
Tania Draut was presented with a cheque for €1,500, the results of the collection after the concert. The evening closed with a cozy get-together with mulled wine and Christmas biscuits, which was offered free of charge.
