The INSEAD Alumni Association Luxembourg and the Community Impact Challenge have announced that they are organising a fireside chat on “Building Sustainable Food Habits - individual vs corporate responsibility?” on Thursday 29 October 2020 at 18:30.

Two community and business leaders will share with participants the responsibilities they are taking to have a personal influence and impact:

- Michelin Star Chef René Mathieu, Best Chef 2020 for cooking vegetables, with his restaurant “La Distillerie” located in Bourlingster Castle, has been promoting food habits which are in harmony with and respectful of nature, its cycles and all other living beings (plants and animals) for more than 16 years;

- Ilana Devillers, founder of Food4All and finalist of the Nasdaq’s COVID-19 Solutions Summer Milestone Makers Programme, has been focussing on reducing food waste by connecting consumers and distributors to market the unsold products of the day via a free and user-friendly app. Her ambition is to make Food4All a commercial success but also to help change mentalities about the way we approach food shopping.

Clara Moraru (IDPC’15, AMP’16) will moderate this discussion. Ambassador of the Sustainable Food Habits Challenge, Ms Moraru is an Insead certified independent director and serial entrepreneur, having set up four companies in three different countries (including a restaurant) and with a recent focus on digital education.
