The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) will be organising a workshop on “A Resilient Strategy for Enterprise Innovation – Innovation Inspired by Nature: Biomimetic in Practice”, on Tuesday 2 June at its premises in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from 14:00 to 18:00.
The workshop will offer professionals the opportunity to discover the importance of being guided by nature, in innovating their businesses, as well as the “Resilience Design Toolkit”, developed by LIST researchers, and currently used by around fifty SMEs in Europe. It consists of a series of thirty richly illustrated cards presenting the principles of innovation through nature for demonstrating the ways business innovation can be considered.
The aim of the workshop is to enable innovation managers, companies’ sustainable development advisors, and executives responsible for environment and quality in their businesses, as well as those interested in environmental issues, and how to integrate environmental, social and economic dimensions into their innovation courses. Nature is resilient and many of its discoveries and innovations can be translated into good practice for both companies, as product design or organisational management and strategic alliances.
The event will be held within the framework of European research project ResilieNtWEB’s “Sustainable Businesses for Resilient NEW Business Networks”, led by English, French and Belgian partners, and co-financed by the Interreg IVB programme.
