Over the winter period, the children and teams of the 'La Colline aux Enfants' crèches in Mersch, Ettelbruck and Wiltz joined forces to raise €308 for SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde.
In a second act of solidarity, these 3 crèches brought together around 60 children in November and December 2015 who, under the guidance of their teachers, made Christmas decorations which were then sold at the Wiltz Christmas Market on 11 December 2015. The money raised reached a sum of €308, a cheque for which was awarded to Eva-Maria Schmid, in charge of Development Education within SOS Villages d'Enfants.
The organisation thanked all the children, their parents and the nursery teams for their solidarity, the fruits of which will go towards SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde projects in place.
This festive generosity represented a second charity project undertaken by 'La Colline aux Enfants', after another initiative was organised by the nurseries in support of SOS educational programmes in 2013.
