Caramba Cinemas, based in Rumelange in south-western Luxembourg, have unveiled the first lineup of the upcoming "Virtual Cinema" initiative of CarambaVision.

With cinemas closed again in light of new COVID-19 restrictions in Luxembourg, CarambaVision has created a platform that allows paying audiences to stream films and participate in post-screening round table discussions via video conference. 

The first films on the agenda are:

- Fri. 27/11 @ 20:00: Skinwalker (Luxembourg-Belgium, 2020 - in English with French subtitles) by Christian Neuman, starring Amber Anderson, Udo Kier, Luc Schiltz, Luc Feit, Sophie Mousel, Marja-Leena Junker, Sarah Lamesch and Nicolas Godard 

- Thurs. 03/12 @ 20:00: D'Fifties (Luxembourg, 2013 - in Luxembourgish, no subtitles) by Andy Bausch. The film screening will be preceded by the short film "Language School" by the same director and followed by a video conference with Andy Bausch

- Fri. 04/12 @ 20:00: Cuentos del Rio (River Tales) (Luxembourg, 2020 - in Spanish with English and French subtitles) by Julie Schroell. The film screening will be followed by a video conference with the director

- Thurs. 10/12 @ 20:00: Lost in the 80s (Luxembourg, 2019 - in Luxembourgish, no subtitles) by Andy Bausch. The film screening will be preceded by the short film "The Last 50 Hours of Frankie Blue" by the same director and followed by a video conference with Andy Bausch

Other films are set to follow soon.

After purchasing tickets for the virtual screening, viewers can watch their chosen film on their smartTV, PC, tablet or laptop. Tickets cost €7 per film and can be purchased at http://caramba.lu/boxoffice.

Following payment, viewers will receive a link and a password to watch the film. The films will be screened on http://caramba.lu/seance.
