Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, has reported that the  transport and moving company Streff recently donated 30m3 of clothing, blankets, towels and shoes to the charity.

The large donation was delivered to the Stëmm vun der Strooss headquarters in Hollerich on 16 January. According to the association, the delivery lorry contained a large number of qualitative blankets, towels and shoes, as well as an accumulation of clothing for men, women and children. Streff's reported goal in gathering and donating all these items was to support the Stëmm vun der Stroos in their mission to provide essential services and material support to those who need it most.

Clothing, shoes, towels and blankets are items that are always needed, especially during the winter months. By providing these “good quality items” Streff supported the Stëmm vun der Strooss, allowing the organisation to better meet its beneficiaries’ needs, the association noted.

The Stëmm vun der Strooss reportedly has an acute shortage of suitable clothing for their "Kleederstuff" (clothing room) recipients. Every donation is currently welcome and the association would therefore like to thank the Streff company for organising a clothing collection for the benefit of those in need.
