Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation which works for the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people, has reported that on Friday 13 October, the team of the social restaurant in Ettelbruck organised a special event for the approximately 100 beneficiaries who come for lunch every day.

On Friday, a team of five volunteers from Byborg company pitched in to assist with a range of tasks. The coordination for this effort was led by Anna Grace Wyneken, who established the connection with Stëmm vun der Strooss. According to the non-profit organisation, Byborg's volunteers were highly enthusiastic and eager to contribute their time for a noble cause.

The Stëmm vun der Strooss organisation's educators, Cécile Teutsch and Martin Debessel, organised a clothing donation and beneficiaries also had the opportunity to receive haircuts. Furthermore, a complimentary lunch was provided, featuring a barbecue and homemade cakes. Byborg volunteers actively participated by managing the distribution of clothing donations, attending to guests at their tables, assisting in the kitchen and helping with cleanup.

Furthermore, throughout the day, individuals employed by Stëmm vun der Strooss as part of their professional reintegration programme collaborated closely with Byborg employees.
