For their 2017 edition of Kinomega, Omega 90 will be hosting a screening at the Ciné Utopia in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg on Wednesday 18 October at 19:00.
The chosen film is a Swiss documentary "Being There - Da Sein" directed by Thomas Lüchinger who will also be present at the screening. It follows four individuals from different cultures - Switzerland, the United States, Brazil, and Nepal - as they care for people at the end of their lives, either as professionals or volunteers. By confronting their own mortality, these individuals demonstate the importance of a humaine presence for people in their dying days.
Kinomega is organised each year for World Hospice and Palliative Care Day.
