The Institute for Global Financial Integrity (TIGFI) is organising its 46th Finance Lunch event on Tuesday 12 April 2016 from 11:30 at the Cercle Munster in Luxembourg-Grund.

Simon Lough, Wealth Manager and Entrepreneur, will speak on Robo advice: how far can wealth management be automated? His is Executive Vice President of Heartwood.

After graduating from Oxford University, Simon started his career in investment banking with Kleinwort Benson in 1984. He moved to work for the Tokyo office in 1986, acquiring a lifelong love of the Japanese people, language and culture. In 1991 he joined Banca della Svizzera Italian, working in their Tokyo and London offices. In 1996 Simon left investment banking to pursue a more entrepreneurial career in wealth management. He joined and co-invested in the forerunner of the Heartwood business (founded by his brother some years earlier). He initially established the London office, focusing on growing the London client base. He subsequently headed both the client and investment teams, before becoming Chief Executive in November 2008. He led Heartwood during the successful acquisition of the business by Handelsbanken in 2013, and moved to the role of Executive Vice President of Heartwood in July 2014. Simon sits on the FCA's Smaller Business Practitioner Panel, where he represents the interests of wealth managers. He also chairs the youth charity Envision. Simon lives in London with his wife and three daughters.
