The Irish Young Professionals Network (IYPN) - Luxembourg, launched by the Irish Embassy earlier this year, hosted a festive networking reception on Monday 8 December 2025 at the Foyer Européen in Luxembourg-Gare.
Approximately 45 people attended the "Snap & Sip" event, during which participants could avail of a free professional photography service to update their headshots, delivered by Chronicle.lu photographer Ali Sahib.
The event, organised in partnership with Chronicle.lu and Waystone, was open to young Irish professionals in Luxembourg (including trainees, students, graduates and early- to mid-career professionals), offering them an opportunity to also meet and network over drinks provided by Waystone.
Following an introduction by Caoimhe McCarthy, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ireland in Luxembourg, attendees listened to remarks from Irish Ambassador Jean McDonald, as well as Jazmin Campbell, journalist at Chronicle.lu, and Darren Gorman, Managing Director and Board Member of Waystone Group Luxembourg. Jazmin and Darren briefly presented their respective organisations and shared insights into their career paths.
The "snapping" and "sipping" continued throughout the evening as attendees mingled and developed their professional connections.
