On Friday 12 February 2026, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce welcomed the 172 companies that had received their “Made in Luxembourg” label during the previous year in recognition for the quality of their products and services, and for their contribution to Luxembourg’s economic attractiveness.
The companies received their certificate from Lex Delles, Luxembourg Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism; Carlo Thelen, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce; and Tom Wirion, Director General of the Chamber of Trades, during the ceremony co-organised by the two professional chambers.
The 172 recipients join a community of over 2,000 labelled companies, which actively contribute to the vitality and dynamism of Luxembourg’s economic ecosystem.
Created in 1984, the “Made in Luxembourg” label is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Trades. Initially intended for industrial and artisanal products, it now reflects the diversity of the Luxembourg economy, covering services, emerging technologies and the creative sectors. It embodies a modern, open and constantly evolving Luxembourg.
Since its creation, its objective has remained unchanged: to highlight the Luxembourg origin of products and services offered by certified companies, promote local expertise, and provide consumers with a clear marker of quality and reliability. The label also constitutes a major competitive advantage for companies, both on the national market and internationally, in an increasingly demanding and highly competitive economic environment.
The Chamber of Commerce said the label further reflects the dynamism of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, which relies on innovation and territorial anchoring as markers of identity and drivers of development. It encourages certified companies to assert themselves on a transforming market and seize new opportunities. This dynamism is fully evident in the 2025 edition, marked by exceptional participation.
Carlo Thelen, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce, emphasised: “This strong participation demonstrates the dynamism of our economy and underlines the importance of this label in Luxembourg’s economic life.”
During the ceremony, Cécile Lorenzini, Marketing and Communications Director at Luxinnovation, shared her experience through a presentation on the evolution of branding strategies in a context where artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming practices, professions and consumer expectations. She posed this central question: “What is a brand today?” While artificial intelligence opens new possibilities in automation, personalisation and creation, it also requires companies to find the right balance between technological innovation and brand identity.
The presentation of the “Made in Luxembourg” label now takes place once a year during a joint ceremony organised by the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Trades.
The next ceremony is scheduled for 2027, at the premises of the Chamber of Trades.
