On Tuesday 16 December 2025, Grand Duke Guillaume and Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, carried out a series of visits to three long-standing companies in the Grand Duchy: Reinert, Minusines and Home Center Willy Putz.
According to the Ministry of the Economy, the visits aimed to highlight the role of long-established companies which have "left a lasting mark" on Luxembourg's economic history.
In Leudelange, the delegation visited Reinert, a company founded in 1925 and active in the distribution of supplies and solutions for the automotive, industrial and security sectors. It offers vehicle parts and accessories, workshop equipment, protective equipment and workplace safety solutions.
The programme continued in Luxembourg-Gasperich with a visit to Minusines, also founded in 1925. The company operates in the distribution of electrical equipment and solutions for technical building installations, such as lighting and electrical equipment. In recent years, the company has also expanded its activities to include renewable energy solutions, featuring photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, energy storage and smart devices.
The final visit took place in Schieren, where the Grand Duke and Minister Delles visited Home Center Willy Putz, a company founded in 1875 and specialising in interior design and renovation. It offers solutions in areas including tiling, sanitary facilities, kitchens and interior carpentry, and supports clients throughout the planning and implementation of projects.
The delegation was accompanied by senior representatives of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts.
Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy noted that the three companies represent a combined 350 years of business activity, reflecting the continuity and evolution of Luxembourg's economic fabric.
