After submissions were opened in November 2015, the time is almost ripe for the winners of the 5th edition of the 'Crème Fraîche' video competition to be announced.

Co-organised by the Service Nationale de la Jeunesse (SNJ) and the Centre National de l'Audio-Visuel (CNA) as part of the Luxembourg City Film Festival, the 'Crème Fraîche' contest invtited young film-makers in Luxembourg aged 12-30 to submit their own audiovisual creation.

On 27 February 2016, a special evening will be held at Utopolis Kirchberg during which the winner of the 'Scénario' portion of the competition, involving the production of an original film script lasting six to nine minutes, will be announced, and the public will determine the winners of the '60 Sekonne' category.

Julien Becker's short film 'Camille', based on the scenario of Louis-Arthur Jeanjean, won last year's edition and will be presented for the first time to the public as a co-production of the CNA and SNJ.

The evening will be concluded with a open screen session during which the first films of the young students from BTS Cinéma et Audiovisuel will be presented.
