KPMG has announced that it has retained its Tier 1 status in a global ranking of Luxembourg’s leading tax advisory firms.
The ranking comes as part of International Tax Review’s annual guides World Tax and World Transfer Pricing, both considered as a benchmark in the world’s leading tax and accounting practices. Top rankings are awarded to those firms that have the greatest depth of resources, experience and range of specialism.
“Again this year, we have been recognised for our dedication in World Tax and World Transfer Pricing and are honoured to have been ranked so highly in two exciting categories,” said Sebastien Labbé, Head of Tax at KPMG Luxembourg. “Being recognised as a leader in tax is directly aligned with our focus on excelling in our tax practice and leading discussion with our clients.”
KPMG Luxembourg will appear as Tier 1 in the World Tax ranking for the fifth consecutive year, and in the top class for World Transfer Pricing for the third year, the entirety of this category’s three-year existence.
“World Transfer Pricing is a relatively new benchmark for International Tax Review and we’re delighted to be recognised in this area,” said Philippe Neefs, Transfer Pricing Leader at KPMG Luxembourg. “This is an important topic for Luxembourg and the government is pushing for greater transparency in this area. We are currently helping our clients navigate the new tax landscape, as we go through this period of change.”
