The Grand Ducal Police have launched a call for witnesses in relation to a recent accident on the A3 motorway.
At around 06:20 on Saturday 14 December 2024, an accident occurred on the A3 in the direction of France just before the Aire de Berchem.
According to initial information, the driver "probably" lost control of their vehicle due to high speed. The car collided with the guardrail on the right side and finally came to a stop in the overtaking lane following the impact. The driver fled, abandoning the car at the scene of the accident.
The police have asked the driver and possible witnesses with relevant information about the accident to contact the traffic police unit (Unité de la Police de la Route - Service Intervention Routier) via tel.: 244-175200 or via email: UPR@police.etat.lu.
