The Grand Ducal Police have confirmed that several burglaries or attempted burglaries were reported on Thursday 15 August 2024.
Around midday on Thursday, an attempted break-in occurred at a single-family house on Rue des Rochers in Wiltz. The perpetrators were reportedly unsuccessful in gaining entry to the property.
Later that evening, a burglary was reported at a detached house on Rue du Titelberg in Lamadelaine. The intruders managed to enter the home and ransacked a room. It is believed they fled upon the arrival of the residents.
Investigations are underway in both cases.
